Jan. 13, 150 block of Crescent Drive, criminal mischief. The rear window of a vehicle was reportedly smashed.
Bradenton Beach
Jan.5, 2513 Gulf Drive N., Circle K, traffic arrest. An officer reported that while in the Circle K parking lot a car without lights pulled up next to his patrol vehicle. The driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
Jan. 6, 107 Gulf Drive N., Bradenton Beach City Hall, threats. A woman reported that she overheard a man make comments regarding the competency of the Bradenton Beach building official and that she heard the man threaten to "come down and beat the hell out of the building official."
Jan. 9, 2513 Gulf Drive N., Circle K, disorderly intoxication. A man was arrested for disorderly intoxication after an officer observed him inside the convenience store. According to the report, the man knocked over a few displays, was staggering and screaming at other customers.
Jan. 14, 400 block of 20th Place, criminal mischief. A man reported hearing a loud noise near his front door. Upon investigation, he found the screen had been removed from the adjacent window.
Jan. 16, 2000 Gulf Drive S., Coquina Park, animal complaint. Officers were notified of two youths seen in the park with rifles. According to the report, a 19- and 20-year old admitted to shooting squirrels with a pellet gun. Both were given a notice to appear and the guns were taken into custody.
Jan. 19, 2513 Gulf Drive N., Circle K, trespass warning. A man was given a trespass warning after the manager asked him to leave and he refused.
Holmes Beach
Jan. 13, 300 block of 68th Street, burglary. According to the report, two revolvers and some cash were stolen from a residence. According to the report, several collector’s items, including a rare colonial red clay bowl located on a table under a window, were broken when the suspect entered the home.
Jan. 13, 2700 block of Avenue C, criminal mischief. A car damaged the wooden post of a mailbox.
Jan. 15, 3100 block of Avenue F, theft. A man reported leaving his vehicle in the parking lot across from his friend’s home with the doors unlocked and the key in the ignition. When he returned, the vehicle was gone. According to the report, the vehicle was recovered at the site of a hit-and-run accident. The vehicle was reportedly crashed into a tree in the 3900 block of Riverview Boulevard, Bradenton. The car was not driveable and the driver had left the scene.
Jan. 16, 500 block of 77th Street, criminal mischief. Eggs were reportedly thrown at a car.
Jan. 18, 500 block of 71st Street, criminal mischief. The front passenger panel of a vehicle reportedly appeared to have been kicked, causing approximately $500 in damage. |
