Political forums delayed by 'Wilma'
Due to the closure of Anna Maria City Hall Oct. 24, and an emergency operations advisory to "keep off the streets" during the anticipated high winds and rain brought to the area by Hurricane Wilma Monday, The Islander agreed to postpone its planned political forum for candidates for Anna Maria City Commission from 5:30 p.m. Monday, to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at city hall.
