William H. Meyers
William H. Meyers, 88, of Holmes Beach, died Nov. 18.
Mr. Meyers was a veteran.
Memorial services were Nov. 22 at Island Baptist Church, Holmes Beach.
He is survived by wife Ida; son Dale; stepchildren Jan and Ed Whitaker; and brothers Earl and Charles of Michigan.
Michael Randolph Reynolds
Michael Randolph Reynolds, 57, of New Port Richey and formerly Anna Maria Island, died Nov. 12.
Mr. Reynolds served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was the grandson of R.J. Reynolds Sr., founder of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. He was an investor.
Memorial services were in Virginia.
He is survived by brother Patrick of California.
Agnes M. Tooker
Agnes M. Tooker, 77, of Anna Maria, died Nov. 22.
Born in New York, N.Y., Mrs. Tooker came to Manatee County from Bay Head, N.J., in 1976. She was a Realtor with Fran Maxon and Green Realty. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, St. Bernard Women's Guild, All Island Denominations and Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, 248 S. Harbor Drive, Holmes Beach FL 34217, or Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota FL 34238. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Island Chapel, was in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by husband George F.; daughters Kathleen Granstad of Anna Maria and Maureen Loveland of Bradenton, both teachers at Anna Maria Elementary School; brother Joseph Murphy of Satellite Beach; and four grandchildren.
Robert V. Total
Robert V. Total, 79, of Bradenton, died Nov. 15.
Born in Beloit, Wis., Mr. Total moved to Manatee County from there in 1996. He was a machine designer for Stackpole Carbon Co., St. Marys, Pa., and Stackpole Machinery Co. and Phin Universal in Toronto, Canada. He retired from Oscar Mayer Co. in Madison, Wis. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member, Eucharist minister and lector at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Holmes Beach. He was past president of the Holy Name Society. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 1511, Bradenton.
Memorial Mass was held at the church Nov. 23. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota FL 34238, or to the church, 248 S. Harbor Drive, Holmes Beach FL 34217. Brown and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by wife of 56 years Rita; daughter Diane Mary Lupker of Beloit; son Gerard A. of St. Marys; sister Virginia of South Beloit, Wis.; and five grandchildren. |
