Oct. 26, 200 block of Willow Avenue, vandalism. A woman reported a window at the back of her home was shattered by some type of projectile.

Bradenton Beach

Oct. 19, 129 Bridge St., Sunset Video, outside seating area, theft. According to the report, someone unscrewed the Formica counter top at the outdoor bar area and stole it.

Oct. 25, 2100 block of Gulf Drive North, traffic arrest. A man was arrested for driving with a restricted license. According to the report, the license restricts the driver to use of his vehicle while working.

Holmes Beach

Oct. 22, 2600 block of Gulf Drive, theft. A man reported his adult tricycle stolen from his yard.

Oct. 24, 3600 block of East Bay Drive, driver's license. A man stopped for speeding was cited for driving without a license.

Oct. 24, 2900 block of Gulf Drive, driver's license. A man was stopped for driving a vehicle with a cracked windshield and cited for driving without a license.

Oct. 24, 3300 block of East Bay Drive, DUI. Phillip Guerrero, 28, of Holmes Beach, was stopped for speeding and arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after failing a field sobriety test.

Oct. 26, 2800 block of Avenue C, burglary. A woman reported her bicycle stolen from her garage.

Oct. 27, 400 block of 63rd Street, burglary. A man reported that his rear screen door had been forced open and a thermometer on the side of the house had been broken.

Oct. 27, 400 block of 63rd Street, burglary. A woman reported that a man opened the door to her home and walked inside. According to the woman, the suspect left quickly when he saw her husband and was then seen entering a neighboring home. Officers responded to the scene and arrested the suspect, who was still inside the neighbors' home.

Oct. 28, 100 block of 50th Street, burglary. A woman reported encountering an unknown man in her residence whom she told police stole her purse as he fled the home. According to the report, police in Bradenton detained a suspicious person prowling around a neighborhood shortly after she reported the burglary. According to the report, the woman positively identified the suspicious person detained in Bradenton as the same person she encountered in her home. The suspect was arrested.
