Soccer camp news

The Anna Maria Island Community Center hosted British Soccer Camp by Challenger Sports July 23-26. Approximately 20 youths in ages ranging from 3-16 years participated.

This camp places a premium on skill development and fun through a series of drills and games.

Coaches provide instruction on the basic fundamentals of the game, including trapping, dribbling, passing and shooting, but they do it in a way that promotes competition among the campers through games.

All of the campers received a soccer ball and a camp T-shirt, but most of all, they had fun.
