Carol J. Conboy
Carol J. Conboy, 79, of Bradenton, died Nov. 18. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved to Bradenton in 1970 from Floral Parks, N.Y.
Mrs. Conboy was a member of Ss Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church, Bradneont, and was a retired school board employee and homemaker. She had a great sense of humor and was a loving wife and mother and friend to all.
A memorial service was held Nov. 23 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd St.W., Bradenton. Mrs. Conboy is survived by sons Tony III and Chris and wife Melissa of Bradenton; daughter, Kellie and husband Chris Galati of Holmes Beach; brother Hugh Bartlett of Land O’ Lakes and Ron Bartlett of Bradenton; sisters Marilyn Provenzano of Bradenton and Judy Stroehlein of Downsville, N.Y.; grandchildren Christopher Galati, Anna Maria Galati, Chloe Conboy, Christopher Conboy and Collin Conboy.
Janette Helen Fleischman
Janette Helen Fleischman, 92, a longtime resident of Sun City Center and formerly of Anna Maria, died Nov. 16. She was born in Mayo, Fla.
She attended Florida Southern College and then spent two years modeling in New York City. She was a straight-forward person with a special fondness for orchids and cats. She also was a skilled golfer, winning multiple championships in Sun City Center and Bradenton.
While living on the north end of Anna Maria Island, she was an avid sports fisher, sharing many years of happiness with husband “Salty” Sol Fleischman, who was well known for his televised fishing reports.
No service was held. Memorial donations may be made to C.A.R.E. Animal Shelter in Ruskin.
Mrs. Fleischman is survived by her sons, Don Corwin Jr., Marty and wife Susan and Sol Jr. and wife Sandra; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; cousins Willard Elsberry and Barbara Church; and special friend Georgia Mace.
Marilda D. Morgan
Marilda D. Morgan, 92, of Bradenton, died Nov. 20. She was born in Pittsfield, Mass. She moved in 1973 to Bradenton from Portland, Maine.
Mrs. Morgan was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church and the Key Royale Club.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by son Domenico and wife Jennifer Cecere of Anna Maria; daughter Cheryl Ann and husband George Rogers of Chickamauga, Ga.; brother Edmund Fulker of Fort Myers; sisters Cora Monterosso of Fort Myers and Lillian St. John of California; and nine grandchildren.
Ronald F. Pepka
Retired U.S. Navy Capt. Ronald F. Pepka, 79, of Bradenton, died Nov. 19. He was born Nov. 2, 1934. He formerly resided in Anna Maria.
Mr. Pepka graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1954 and attended William and Mary College. He was a proud 25-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as a jet pilot and a research and development procurement officer, traveling worldwide.
In retirement he relished in winning at horseshoes and was an usher at his church.
A memorial Service was held at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation Nov. 26. Memorial donations may be made to the church, 4408 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach FL 34217, or to Tidewell Hospice, 5957 Rand Blvd., Sarasota FL.
Mr. Pepka is survived by wife Jacqueline (Danzer); son Ronald G. and wife Catherine; grandchildren Ben and Hannah Sharp; sister Barbara; and brother Paul of Massachusetts.
