Anna Maria

        • Feb. 6, 300 block of Iris Street, information. A complainant said a caretaker was hired for client’s residence. The client terminated the caretaker and the employer was attempting to get back $1,492 already paid for services that are no longer needed. Phone calls and emails were unsuccessful in getting a response from the employee.

• Feb. 3, 800 block North Shore Drive, fraudulent use of a debit card. A complainant reported that someone obtained his debit card information and used it on multiple occasions to withdraw $2,260.

Bradenton Beach

        • No new reports.

        Bradenton Beach is policed by the BBPD.


• Feb. 7, 10300 block of Cortez Road West, burglary. A complainant observed a section of fence was cut at a boatyard. Investigating further, a boat motor was missing on a vessel close to where the fence had been cut.

• Feb. 8, 4500 block of 124th Street West, burglary. An unknown person gained entry into a home and stole several unlisted items.

        Cortez is policed by the MCSO
