Horseshoe news

Tim Sofran made two trips to the winner’s circle during horseshoe action at the Anna Maria City Hall horseshoe pits in the past week.

On July 2, Sofran teamed up with Bob Heiger and they were the only team to post a 3-0 record in pool play to be the day’s outright champions.

Sofran singled to make it two in a row in the July 5 action, walking his way to the only 3-0 record in pool play and another outright title.
