Feb. 9, 70 block of North Shore Drive, lost property. A resident reported a missing garbage can.
Feb. 9, 100 block of Spring Avenue, found property. A person found a driver’s license and gas reward card in the dirt and turned them into the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Feb. 12, 9000 block of Gulf Drive, lost property. A woman reported she could not find her garbage can. Anna Maria is policed by the MCSO.
Bradenton Beach
Feb. 14, 700 block of Gulf Drive South, domestic. Police responded to a call from a woman who had fled her residence and the man she lived with in the early morning hours after a heated argument with the man. Later that day, she described her injuries and the fight. She also told officers she was upset because both of them had received domestic brochures, and she was the victim. No charges were filed.
Feb. 14, 2408 Gulf Drive N., trespass warning. A man was trespassed after coming onto the property for a paycheck.

Cortez
Feb. 10, 4400 block of 123rd Street West, Cortez, armed burglary. An unknown person entered a residence through an unlocked door and stole a firearm and other property valued at $1,700.
Feb. 13, 3800 block of 117th Street West, information. A woman reported that a neighbor had a visitor who shined high beam lights from a vehicle into her home and played loud music. No charges were filed.
Feb. 15, 12112 Cortez Road W., Cortez Post Office, information. An MCSO deputy found a man who had woken up with a swollen and sore face, as well as dried blood on his face, hands and shirt. The man told the deputy he was unsure how he got hurt. He was treated by EMS and transported to Blake Medical Center.

Holmes Beach
Feb. 10, 5300 block of Gulf Drive, criminal mischief. A woman called Holmes Beach Police Department to report a tire on her pickup truck had possibly been cut.
Feb. 10, 200 block of 72nd Street, theft. Four rattan chairs and a metal table were reported missing by a property management company. The furniture was taken from a backyard patio surrounded by a fence. It was valued at $200.
Feb. 11, 700 block of Manatee Avenue, license. An officer stopped a motorist traveling east after determining the registered owner had a suspended license. He issued the Bradenton woman a summons to appear in court for the DWLS violation.
Feb. 11, 5600 block of Guava Drive, license. An officer determined the registered owner of a vehicle had a suspended license and stopped the vehicle. A Holmes Beach man was ticketed for failure to provide insurance and issued a summons to appear in court for DWLS violation. The officer also seized the vehicle tag.
Feb. 11, 700 block of Manatee Avenue, license. A patrol officer stopped a woman who was driving a vehicle without headlights after dark. The motorist handed the officer a Mexican driver’s license and told him she had no Florida license. The officer gave her a warning for the headlight violation and a criminal citation for having no valid driver’s license.
Feb. 12, 500 block of Manatee Avenue, license. A Bradenton woman was ticketed for failure to provide proof of insurance and cited for driving on a suspended license. The officer also seized the tag.
Feb. 14, 600 block of Crestwood Lane, domestic battery. A woman and man had argued and a pizza delivery person arrived. As the woman paid, the man stepped outside and hit her on the back of the head. The delivery person, who witnessed the incident, flagged down an HBPD officer. As the officer approached the two in the driveway, the man got in a pickup truck and put it in reverse. The officer told him to put the truck in park and placed him under arrest. The man claimed the woman hit him first.
