David John Frenchak
David John Frenchak, 74, of Chicago, a winter visitor to Holmes Beach, died May 15.
He was a pastor in Boston for eight years. He was part of Baptist General Conference and was a consultant in theological education at Garrett Evangelical Seminary in Evanston, Illinois.
He was founding director of the seminary consortium for Urban Pastoral Education in Chicago for 36 years and he attended Roser Memorial Community Church in Anna Maria.

He is survived by wife Carol Ann McGibbon; daughters Karis Renee of Orlando and Janis Noelle and husband Farid Altaqi of Chicago; brothers James of Chesterfield, Virginia, and Steve of Clifton Park, New York; sister Marjorie Danylak of Okotoks, Alberta, Canada; grandchildren Kyle Martin Becerra and Gabriel Valentin Becerra.
