Kathleen A. Ambut
Kathleen A. Ambut, 58, of Bradenton and formerly of Holmes Beach, died Feb. 6.
Born in Berwyn, Ill., Mrs. Ambut moved to Manatee County from Chicago 20 years ago.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 24.
She is survived by sons Jeff and wife Amanda of Bradenton, Christopher of Holmes Beach and Michael Harrington of Bradenton.
William F. Bick
William F. Bick, 73, of Bradenton, died May 17.
There will be no local services. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26th Street Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bick is survived by sons William A., Joseph P., Michael D., and Robert C.; daughter Julie Nelson, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Romeo ‘Papa Boy’ Salvitti
Romeo “Papa Boy” Salvitti, 58, of Bradenton, died May 11.
Mr. Salvitti lived in many parts of Florida before moving to Manatee County in 1994. He was a bartender at the BeachHouse Restaurant in Bradenton Beach and Leverock’s Restaurant for many years. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam. He coached youth baseball and basketball. He was a member of the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce and Bostock USA the Kwondo. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Bradenton.
Memorial services were May 16 at the G.T. Bray Park auditorium, Bradenton. Covell Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Bradenton, was in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by daughter Dawn; sons Jimmy and Michael; sister Joanne; brothers Johnny and Michael; and grandchildren Diilan, Lucas, Annabella, Gianna, Juliana and James.
Roger ‘Steve’ Spicer
Roger ''Steve'' Spicer, 47, formerly of Anna Maria Island, died Tuesday, May 13, at St Luke Hospital, Fort Thomas, Ky.
Visitation and burial were in Kentucky where Dobbling Funeral Home, Bellevue, Ky., was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Spicer is survived by wife Shirley of Kentucky; sisters Jackie Spicer Siler of Kentucky and Lisa Spicer Nichols of Florida; brothers Mike Spicer of Indiana and Dave Spicer of Florida; uncles David Spicer and Ben Spicer of Florida; aunts Zetta Spicer and Pat Spicer of Florida and Irene Brandenburg of Kentucky; nephews Michael and Josh; nieces,Angie and Michelle; cousins Loretta, Patty, Lewissa, Amanda, and Mary; and many more extended family members and friends. |
