Bradenton Beach

July 18, Coquina Beach access road, unregistered vehicle, suspended license. Bradenton Beach police officers arrested a 28-year-old Ruskin man for allegedly failing to have proper vehicle registration. The female received a trespass warning after allegedly becoming loud and disruptive in the store.

Holmes Beach

July 13, 3300 block of Gulf Drive, lewd activity. The Holmes Beach Police Department responded to a report of possible lewd activity - two males and a female beside the road making “lewd” motions toward vehicles, including one auto that contained a young girl. An officer found three suspects who appeared intoxicated and noted that the two male suspects were “wearing a very tight thong-type bathing suit.” The officer warned the trio that if they engaged in lewd activity witnessed by a child, they could be arrested as sexual offenders. The three also were told that alcohol is not permitted on the beaches.

A woman reported to police that she was at the beach with her children when she observed a man in a pickup truck who seemed to be watching her family. She said that she thought he was possibly fondling himself. Police then found a man in a truck at the playground, who said he was reading a newspaper. He was issued a trespass warning and “advised not to return.”
