Story Tools • • Date of Issue: September 21, 2006 Obituaries Jess Milan Middleton Jr. Jess Milan Middleton Jr., 86, of Anna Maria Island, died Sept. 11. Born in Little Rock, Ark., Mr. Middleton moved to the Island from Pensacola Beach, Fla., in 1980. He was a supervisory accounting specialist for the U.S. government at the Pensacola Naval Base. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific and Alaska. Memorial services were Sept. 17.
