Webb out, five in for Anna Maria election
By Rick Catlin

Anna Maria City Commissioner Chuck Webb has decided against seeking a second term, citing his growing legal practice on the Island.
Webb had previously been undecided about seeking a second term on the commission.
With Webb out of the running, five candidates have qualified for the three two-year terms on the commission to be contested Nov. 4.
City Commissioner John Quam is seeking re-election, while political newcomers Carol Ann Magill and Randall Stover will also be on the ballot.
They will be joined by Jeff Smith, who was defeated for a commission seat in the February 2003 commission election, and Dale Woodland, who made an unsuccessful bid for a commission seat several years ago.
Anna Maria commissioners are paid an annual salary of $4,800.
