Holmes Beach spending

The five candidates in Holmes Beach seeking one of the three city commission seats up for election Nov. 3 have raised a combined $3,388 for their campaigns. The city has 3,234 registered voters.

According to figures available at the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections Office as of Sept. 31, the cut-off date for the first candidate-reporting period, the following were amounts of contributions and expenditures of the five candidates.

Zaccagnino had one $1,000 loan to his campaign, while Sheridan had two individual contributers, and one $340 loan and $100 donation to his campaign.

Geyer had one $1,000 loan and $100 donation to her campaign, while Robinson had one $100 donation to his campaign.

Morton reported four individual contributers, including one in-kind, as well as one business contributer.

Candidates must also file campaign contribution and expenditure reports 18 days before the election (Oct. 16) and 4 days prior to the election (Oct. 31).

The results of those reports were not available online prior to press deadline.
