Bradenton Beach
Nov. 2, 402 Church Ave., Bradenton Beach Marina, property damage. A customer on a boat attempting to leave the marina through a private channel reportedly struck a channel marker, breaking it off below the water line.
Nov. 15, 1900 Gulf Drive S., Coquina Park, burglary. A couple reported money and credit cards stolen from their wallet and purse, which was left inside the trunk of their vehicle.
Nov. 21, 104 First St. N., Electrical Service, information. An employee reported a work van stolen allegedly by a former employee. However, before the complainant was finished filing the report, he was notified that the van and all its contents had been returned to the business.
Nov. 29, 200 block of Gulf Drive, disorderly intoxication. A woman was arrested for disorderly intoxication after attempting to fight with another woman and becoming uncooperative during the police investigation.
Nov. 25, 611 Gulf Drive N., Imperial House condominiums, information. Two neighbors became involved in a verbal confrontation over a traffic incident. The argument reportedly escalated to the point both men became physically aggressive. Neither neighbor chose to press charges.
Nov. 25, 200 Gulf Drive N., Cortez Beach, warrant arrest. A woman was reportedly acting disorderly at the Circle K and, according to the report, proceeded to run across the street and dive into the Gulf. A routine check showed the woman was wanted on a Dade County warrant for grand theft and she was arrested.
Nov. 26, 100 block of 25th Street North, suspended license. A man was arrested for driving with a suspended license. According to the report, the driver was aware of the suspension due to a previous citation in November for the same offense. He reportedly showed the previous citation to the officer when asked to produce his driver’s license.
Nov. 29, 2601 Gulf Drive N., Sandpiper Resort, suspended license. Officers responded to a trespass complaint. According to the report, a manager reported that a man was parked near a mobile home from which he had been evicted. When the officer stopped the man to issue him a trespass warning, a routine check showed the man also had a suspended license. He was given the warning and arrested for driving with a license that had been revoked numerous times, the most recent being April 2005.
Holmes Beach
Nov. 25, 3007 Gulf Drive, Anchor Inn, obstruction. An officer reported witnessing a female pass out in the parking lot and called Emergency Medical Services to assist. Another woman approached the scene and confronted the officer. When she reportedly refused to leave the scene, she was arrested.
Nov. 26, 400 block of Clark Drive, burglary. A woman reported money missing from a wallet she left in the locked glove box of her vehicle.
Nov. 28, 700 block of Manatee Avenue, traffic arrest. A driver was stopped when he reportedly pulled out in front of a police car and was seen not wearing a seat belt. He was given a citation and a taxi was called to drive the man home since the officer believed he was too impaired to drive himself. According to the report, the man took the cab a few blocks before choosing to walk back to his vehicle in an attempt to drive home. He was stopped a second time and taken into custody under the Marchman Act.
Nov. 30, 5402 Marina Drive, Sun Coast Real Estate, fraud. A Plant City woman allegedly gave the company a worthless check. |
