Nov. 2, 700 block of Jarcanda Road, burglary. A resident reported items stolen in a burglary that occurred sometime during the prior week.
Nov. 7, 300 block of Iris Street, information. A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched for a report of criminal mischief — that an unknown person or persons knocked out the complainant’s window.
Nov. 13, 100 block of South Bay Boulevard, license and drug paraphernalia violations. An MCSO deputy stopped vehicle driven by a Bradenton man, noticing a tag light out on its license plate. The deputy arrested him for driving on a suspended license, a third or subsequent violation. Post-arrest, the deputy found a heroin spoon in the center console. The man told the deputy the spoon belonged to another person that he had just dropped off. The man posted bond and was released from the Manatee County jail.

Bradenton Beach
Nov. 13, 135 Bridge St., disorderly conduct. Police responded to a report that an intoxicated man was bothering patrons and refusing to leave the Bridge Tender Inn & Dockside Bar tiki bar. When officers arrived at the bar, the man was arguing with the manager. Police arrested the Bradenton Beach man after he attempted to walk away from them. He was booked in the Manatee County jail and released on a court order requiring him to stay 500 feet away from the Bridge Tender Inn.

Cortez
Nov. 14, 4000 block of 124th Street West, burglary. A resident reported an unknown person or persons broke into a house sometime the night before and stole a laptop computer and $4 in change. A beanie hat was left next to the change dish.
Nov. 16, 4000 block of 119th Street West, vehicle burglary. A gas caddy was stolen from the back of a pickup truck between Nov. 14 and Nov. 15.

Holmes Beach
Nov. 9, 500 block of 69th Street, burglary. Forty 1-ounce bottles of vodka, a camera, change in a jar and four stove heating elements were reported stolen from a residence. A sliding door appeared to have been pried open to gain entry. The intruder apparently used the toilet and adjusted the humidity and temperature.
Nov. 10, 200 block of 43rd Street, criminal traffic. A Bradenton man was pulled over for blocking traffic and placed under arrest for driving on a revoked license. The man consented to a police search of the vehicle, and numerous hypodermic needles were found. A keepsake coin also was found in an envelope. He was ticketed and booked into the Manatee County jail.
Nov. 11, 8000 block of 84th Street, burglary. Out of town for two months, an owner returned to find her house burglarized. She reported numerous items missing, including a $5,000 Cartier watch and other jewelry, a mounted cougar and elephant head with tusks, a clock and towels. No forced entry was found. Fingerprints were taken.
