Feb. 23, 400 block of Pine Avenue, lost property. A person reported a trashcan was lost.
Feb. 26, 500 block of Pine Avenue, criminal mischief. A person reported vandalism to a roof. A deputy responded and noted damage to gutters and tire tracks leading away from the property.
March 5, 400 block of Pine Avenue, assist. A woman operating a Segway in a city parking lot repeatedly struck a parked car, causing her to fall and suffer a leg injury. Emergency medical services, West Manatee Fire Rescue and the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office assisted the woman.

Bradenton Beach
March 2, 118 Bridge St., Sports Lounge, trespass warning. A Bradenton Beach man, who’d been asked to leave the bar the day before, damaged a toilet in a restroom and left, but returned later that evening. A bar manager called the Bradenton Beach Police Department. The man told the responding officer he didn’t mean to break the toilet. The bar manager declined to press charges for the damages but advised the man he was not allowed back on the property. A trespass warning was issued.
March 7, 111 Gulf Drive South, Bridge Street Bistro, disturbance. A man and a woman who had been dating about seven years were drinking in the bar when they ran into the woman’s ex-boyfriend from Georgia. The woman and ex-boyfriend went upstairs and began kissing. The man also walked upstairs, saw the pair kissing, and the two males began fighting. When police arrived, the man signed a waiver of prosecution.
March 9, 110 block of Fifth Street South, indecent exposure. A complainant filed a police report about a man who had come to her mother’s front door and exposed his sexual organ the night before. The man had been next door, making loud outbursts and bragging about drinking a case of beer, before the women heard banging at the door. The man urinated on the wall next to the door. Later, when the complainant was outside with her dog, the man told a large pit bull to attack. Police advised the woman to report the dog-related incident to Manatee County Animal Services. BBPD requested a warrant for the man’s arrest for indecent exposure.

Holmes Beach
March 2, 3900 block of Gulf Drive, license. A Holmes Beach police officer stopped a motorist in a parking lot after running the vehicle tag. The officer issued the driver from Holmes Beach a summons to appear in court for driving on a suspended license. The officer also seized the tag.
March 6, 3600 block of Gulf Drive, license. A police officer observed a vehicle with a passenger not wearing a seat belt. After pulling over the vehicle, the officer determined the Myakka City driver had a revoked license. He issued the passenger a seat belt citation and the motorist a summons to appear in court for driving on the revoked license.
March 6, 3000 block of Gulf Drive, license. A 34-year-old Kissimmee woman was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt and police determined she was driving on a suspended license. She was issued a notice to appear in court for the license violation and a seat belt citation.
March 8, 3100 block of Gulf Drive, license. A 35-year-old man from Seffner was arrested for driving on a revoked license after an officer stopped the motorist for a seat belt violation. He was transported to jail, posted $1,500 bond and was released, pending a court date.
