Anna Maria

• March 8, 800 block of North Shore, stray dog. Manatee County Animal Services and the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stray dog.

Bradenton Beach

• Feb. 27, 900 block of Gulf Drive North, battery. The Bradenton Beach Police Department is investigating three alleged batteries in the kitchen of the Gulf Drive Cafe. Three kitchen employees reported that another employee burned them with kitchen equipment in separate incidents.

Cortez

• No new reports.

Holmes Beach

• March 2, 200 block of 65th Street, theft. The Holmes Beach Police Department responded to a report of a theft from a home — the removal of 40 pressure-treated boards being used to replace a deck. The material was valued at $320. The material was found two days later and returned to the site.

• March 7, 4000 block of Fifth Avenue, theft. The HBPD received a report from a woman who said a GPS device was removed from her vehicle.
