        Oct. 3, 500 block of Gulf Drive North, information. A man went to the police station to report his 2012 Mercedes-Benz dented. He said the damage could be accidental or intentional.

Holmes Beach

Sept. 24-28, 600 block of Emerald Lane, theft. The Holmes Beach Police Department connected a woman who had lost her cellphone to the MCSO, which had recovered it from a stolen vehicle. The woman told HBPD she had no idea how the cellphone got into a stolen vehicle. She had given the phone to her husband, who left it in his unlocked vehicle when he went to a car dealership for service.

Sept. 30, 500 block of 68th Street, burglary. A rattan end table, coffee table and bookshelf valued at $2,000 were reported stolen. Items on the bookshelf were put in a wastebasket and a mug used as a pencil holder was found on the floor. HBPD determined entry was through an unsecured garage door.

Sept. 30, 400 block of 78th Street, burglary. A break-in was reported. Police determined someone had entered through a side garage door, pried open a window frame and broke glass in a door to the residence.
