Oct. 23, 70 block of North Shore, noise. At 10:13 p.m., a Manatee County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a loud music complaint. A renter was warned about the city’s 10 p.m. noise cutoff.
Oct. 24, 200 block of Chilson Avenue, noise. MCSO responded to a complaint about loud music at 10:45 p.m. The music was turned off and wedding guests went inside. The tenants were made aware of the city’s noise law and a verbal warning was issued.
Nov. 7, 100 block of South Bay Boulevard, injury. A woman fell on the Anna Maria City Pier near the fish cleaning station. She told law enforcement she fell because of water on the deck.
Nov. 7, 100 block of Oak Avenue, noise. An MCSO deputy warned six adults sitting on a porch at 1:38 a.m. about the city’s noise ordinance after hearing their voices carry, and the people dispersed.
Nov. 13, 500 block of Bayview Place, noise. At 8:30 p.m., MCSO responded to a noise complaint about someone watching a movie on a porch. A verbal warning was issued.

Bradenton Beach
Nov. 12, 2100 block of Gulf Drive North, accident. At 4:30 p.m., a 57-year-old man was transported to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton after being rendered unconscious in an accident. Witnesses reported the man on a scooter hit the guardrail on the west side of the road, veered into oncoming traffic and then flipped over the guardrail. The officer went to Blake to interview the man, who had regained consciousness, and observed the scooter driver had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. BBPD sent a request for charges of driving under the influence and no driver’s license to the state attorney. The scooter sustained $200 in damage.
Nov. 13, Gulf Watch condominium, 601 Gulf Drive N., theft. The seat and rear tire were stolen from a rental bike locked to a stair railing.
Nov. 17, 2000 block of B Avenue, fraud. A woman reported a theft to her bank account by an unknown person who purchased $370.84 of merchandise through Internet transactions in September. The purchases were for sunbathing products and lingerie.
Nov. 17, 100 block of Second Street North, domestic battery. Both parties to a physical altercation were arrested after a fight that left the woman with a swollen lip and grab marks, and the man with scratches on his head. Police transported them to the Manatee County jail.

Cortez
Nov. 5, 4100 block of 127th Street West, theft. A person rented a boat slip on a monthly basis and left in the middle of the night without paying $760 in rent.

Holmes Beach
Nov. 7-8, 100 block of 77th Street, theft. A bicycle reported stolen was found in the 200 block of 76th Street after Holmes Beach Police Department responded to a trespass call. The bike owner was notified.
Nov. 8, 200 block of 76th Street, trespass. Unauthorized persons were reported “partying since yesterday” at a residence. HBPD officers observed two vehicles and a bicycle that had been reported as stolen. Police found minors, paraphernalia and alcohol. The officers advised the juveniles to collect their belongings and clean up the property. Trespass warnings were issued and the juveniles were released to their parents.
Nov. 10, 1200 block of Manatee Avenue, warrant. A 22-year-old Bradenton man was stopped for speeding and HBPD determined a Manatee County warrant had been issued for his arrest on uttering a forged instrument. He was transferred to MCSO custody.
Nov. 11, 7000 block of Gulf Drive, aggravated assault. A construction worker from Bradenton allegedly threatened another worker with a knife. The accused denied making the threat.
