Nov. 26, 700 block of Holly Road, burglary. A woman reported unknown persons entered her residence a day before, took items and fled in an unknown direction.
Nov. 27, 100 block of Palm Avenue, noise. A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a 6 p.m. call about a live band playing loud music. The deputy contacted the occupant about the noise and the city’s ordinance. He also asked the band to turn down the music, and it did.
Nov 27, 200 block of Magnolia Avenue, noise. Deputies were dispatched to a 9 p.m. call about loud music. People were found using a singing machine/speaker. MCSO contacted the occupants and issued a warning.
Dec. 8, 200 block of Oak Avenue, theft. MSCO responded to a theft of a UPS package from a porch while the resident worked in the yard. Deputies searched for a man witnesses say took the package and left in a golf cart.

Bradenton Beach
Dec. 15, Bridge Street anchorage, suspicious circumstance. Bradenton Beach police received a call about threats being made to an occupant of a 25-foot sailboat. When an officer arrived, he found the sailboat crashed into the Historic Bridge Street Pier. The occupant told police he’d argued about rent with his landlord, who then detached and took his dinghy, leaving him without a way back to shore. Police contacted the boat owner and advised him he was responsible for the damages caused by the boat breaking loose. Anchor light and registration decal warnings also were issued.

Cortez
Dec. 7, Bradenton Boat Club Marina, 12160 Cortez Road W., burglary. Two fishing poles and a touch-screen monitor valued at $2,000 were reported stolen Dec. 6 from a 23.5-foot Sportsman boat.
Cortez is policed by the MCSO.
Holmes Beach
Dec. 5. 5800 block of De Palmas Avenue, theft. An electrical outlet was reported stolen from the front of a residence. Someone had unscrewed the faceplate, removed the outlet and cut the wires.
Dec. 7, 100 block of 50th Street, theft. A table valued at $100 was stolen from outside a residence.
Dec. 10, 500 block of 69th Street, theft. Two chairs valued at $720 were reported missing from an owner’s seawall.
Dec. 11, 4900 block of Gulf Drive, domestic battery. Holmes Beach Police Department responded to a domestic violence situation and found the suspect had left. A woman reported she was struck in the face by her boyfriend, who also pushed her neighbor. The man was arrested for battery the following day.
