Sunset watchers at 6:20 p.m. March 7 witness police zoom down the beach in ATVs near the 36th Street access. Holmes Beach police and Manatee County Sheriff’s deputies were assisting Bradenton Beach Police Department’s response to a burglary in progress in the 500 block of Gulf Drive in Bradenton Beach. Officer Eric Hill arrested a 53-year-old man coming out of a back room at the residence. The man was cooking dinner and watching TV while residing at a property where he was not authorized.
