May 20, 100 block of Crescent Drive, suspicious incident. A passerby reported a door left open on a parked car. The owner told police the car doors are kept locked at all times. A Manatee County Sheriff’s deputy checked the vehicle for fingerprints.
May 21, 100 block of Pine Avenue, domestic disturbance. MCSO responded to a couple from Hillsborough County having a dispute and observed no signs of physical violence. They left the area.

Bradenton Beach
June 1, Island Time Bar and Grill, 111 Gulf Drive S., trespass/fraud. A woman in a wheelchair ordered $20 worth of food and refused to pay her bill. Bradenton Beach Police Department requested the state attorney to issue a warrant for the woman’s arrest for defrauding an innkeeper. The restaurant manager issued her a trespass warning.

Holmes Beach
May 21, 6200 block of Holmes Boulevard, domestic. Police responded to a call about a woman and her 15-year-old foster daughter arguing. Officers found the girl walking on Holmes Boulevard. After speaking to the girl and the woman, police released the girl to the woman, who said they were leaving for Maine at 4 a.m.
May 21, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, theft. A woman returned to her parked SUV to find two windows broken and a Coach purse missing.
May 23, 100 block of 79th Street, burglary/theft. An orange Fat Bike valued at $2,200 was stolen from a carport, and a black Electra bicycle, valued at $600, was taken from a side yard. Police found two 15-year-olds riding the stolen bicycles in the 7200 block of Holmes Boulevard. They were arrested and booked into a juvenile facility.
