An altered and expired vehicle registration led police to arrest a Bradenton man for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Rolando Mendez Barron, 23, was arrested June 28 after a traffic stop during which Holmes Beach police determined he was driving without proper vehicle registration and without a driver’s license.
Officers allegedly found about 2 grams of marijuana and a marijuana pipe after a search of Barron.
He was transported to Manatee County jail, posted a $620 bond and was released.
His arraignment is set for 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
