Ajit Ketkar, 48, of New Jersey, arrested Sept. 1 by Holmes Beach police for attempted sexual battery and attempting, soliciting or conspiring to commit a crime has been cleared.
In the arrest report, Holmes Beach police officers were dispatched to a 911 call at a vacation rental in the 6300 block of Gulf Drive.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a woman who said Ketkar tried to force her to have sexual intercourse after she denied consent. Her dress was ripped and she appeared upset, according to the police report. She said he got angry, pinned her down and exposed himself to her.
The alleged victim dropped charges Sept. 23 within the 12th Judicial Circuit Court.
Ketkar was expunged of charges Oct. 1.
