Sept. 23, 500 block of Magnolia Avenue, noise. The MCSO received a call from a resident who said he could hear music two blocks from his home. A deputy responded to the 10:29 p.m. complaint, identified the source of the noise and issued a citation for violation of the city noise ordinance.
Sept. 24, 800 South Bay Boulevard, trespass. An MCSO deputy trespassed a man after receiving a complaint he was trespassing in the backyard of a private property.
Sept. 25, 800 block of North Shore Drive, noise. The MCSO responded at 1:49 a.m. to a complaint about loud music and screaming on a back porch. A deputy responded, confirmed the noise and issued a citation for violation of the city noise ordinance.

Bradenton Beach
Oct. 1, 2400 block of Avenue C, noise. Bradenton Beach police responded about midnight to calls about a noisy neighbor and heard loud music coming from a carport. The officer contacted the occupants and warned them the noise was in violation of city code. The occupants, who said they were unaware of the rule, turned off the music.
Oct. 1, 2100 block of Avenue B, noise. An officer responded about midnight to calls of a noisy neighbor and found a group of loud people in a pool. The officer gave the renter a verbal warning and the renter agreed to stop the noise.
Oct. 5, Bradenton Beach Marina, 402 Church Ave., abandoned boat. An officer responded to reports of a partially submerged vessel resting near the fuel dock. The officer spoke with the marina manager, who said he removed the vessel from the water but had videos showing its submersion. The officer deemed the vessel unseaworthy and began attempts to contact the owner.

Holmes Beach
Oct. 1, 6500 block of Marina Drive, recovered vehicle. The Holmes Beach Police Department license plate recognition system notified officers of a stolen rental vehicle in the area. An officer stopped the motorist of the vehicle, who said he was not the renter and did not know the vehicle was stolen. The officer confirmed the claims, had the vehicle towed and contacted the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office about prosecuting the renter.
Oct. 2, Manatee Public Beach, 4000 Gulf Drive, theft. An officer responded to reports of a missing bicycle. The officer found a man who said a bike provided at his rental unit went missing after he left it unlocked. The man provided the owner’s contact information to the officer.
Oct. 4, Kingfish Boat Ramp, 752 Manatee Ave., Marchman Act. An officer responded to reports of an unconscious man and arrived to find him being treated by emergency medical services. The officer spoke to the man, who was intoxicated and had fallen, and detained him under a Marchman Act. The man was transported to the Manatee County jail in Bradenton.
Oct. 5, 500 block of 71st Street, fraud. A woman arrived at the HBPD to report fraudulent withdrawals from her bank account amounting to about $70,000. She said she had placed holds on her bank accounts and provided a witness statement.
