The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Bradenton man Sept. 29 for allegedly burglarizing a Chevron service station, 6724 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
A MCSO news release identified the arrested man as William John Kenney Gottschalk, 32.
A report stated that someone broke a window at the service station and stole a case of K2 “synthetic marijuana” and male enhancement pills from a counter display.
An alarm brought the MCSO.
Investigating deputies reported finding Gottschalk on Anna Maria Island. The news release said the man confessed to the burglary and returned the stolen property. He allegedly told the MCSO that he had tried to buy the items earlier Sept. 29, but a clerk refused the sale because the station was closed.
