Dear lawmaker …

Letters are bundled and sent July 10 to state Sen. Jim Boyd and state Rep. Will Robinson Jr., both R-Bradenton, from Save Florida Home Rule opposing the consolidation or disolution of the three island cities. The letters also request a meeting in August and the release of a study on the issue by the state Office of Program Policy Analysis and Government Accountability, which is exemption from Florida’s Government-in-the-Sunshine Law.
