Helene-Milton wipe out Kingfi sh Boat Ramp

From one end to the other, Australian pine trees that provided visitors to the boat ramp a shady respite in a picnic area and mangrove trees remained broken and toppled Nov. 15 at Kingfish Boat ramp at the gateway to Holmes Beach on Manatee Avenue. The docks are twisted and broken, and cones and barriers prevent use of the boat ramps. The parking lot has been used for a staging area for large trucks hauling waste on the island.
