Feb. 6, 200 block of South Bay Boulevard, trespass. A Manatee County sheriff’s deputy responded to a call concerning a person trespassing at a rental property. The deputy instructed the man to leave and notified the rental management company.
Feb. 9, 100 block of Hammock Road, noise, 2:52 a.m. A deputy responded to a noise complaint, heard music being played from a golf cart parked outside a residence and wrote a citation for an ordinance violation.

Bradenton Beach
Feb. 7, 100 block of Gulf Drive South, battery. Witnesses told Bradenton Beach police that a man grabbed his wife. Police determined the man was intoxicated. He became belligerent and uncooperative while being questioned, and was placed in handcuffs. The report also said the man kicked an officer in the chest. He was arrested and charged with domestic battery and assault on a law enforcement officer.

Holmes Beach
Jan. 17, 300 block of 68th Street, theft. A complainant reported the theft of three, boxed televisions from a rental unit.
Jan. 20, 100 block of 77th Street, weapon violation. Police officers were called to the beach because an individual was brandishing a handgun in his waistband. Officers found an individual at a parked truck. There was a pistol magazine in his pocket. A backpack contained a paintball gun. The suspect, a juvenile, admitted to wearing the weapon in his waistband. A juvenile referral was submitted for carrying a concealed weapon and improper exhibition of a weapon.
