Bradenton Beach building official Bill Palmer submitted a Jan. 21 letter of resignation. He cited personal and health reasons for his departure from the city. Palmer was sworn as building official Feb. 26, 2025. City commissioners were scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at city hall, 107 Gulf Drive N., to discuss options for filling the role.
