The Bradenton Beach Police Department arrested Brett Andrew Williams, 59, of Sarasota, March 8 on suspicion of driving under the influence.
While patrolling at 3:21 a.m. in the 100 block of Gulf Drive North, an officer saw a vehicle make a wide turn and cross the center line multiple times.
The BBPD conducted a traffic stop and found the driver, Williams, smelled strongly of alcohol and had watery, bloodshot eyes.
He refused sobriety exercises and was arrested.
He was booked into the Manatee County jail and released later that day on a $1,000 bond.
