Story Tools • • AME Calendar The Sandbar Restaurant will sponsor the monthly Parent-Teacher Organization dinner at Anna Maria Elementary School. The dinner will take place in the school cafeteria from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9. The menu will consist of marinated, char-grilled chicken breast, pineapple, red beans and rice, salad and dinner rolls. The cost will be $7 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the school office, 4700 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach. Following the dinner, AME third-graders will perform the play “Temples and Tombs” in the auditorium. Other AME dates to mark on the calendar include: Oct. 5 - Parent-Teacher Organization meeting, 9 a.m. in the cafeteria. Oct. 8 - School Advisory Committee meeting, 3:15 p.m. in the media center.
