Story Tools • • Moose Lodge burglarized Sometime before dawn on March 17, a sliding-glass door was smashed at the Moose Lodge, 110 Gulf Drive, Bradenton Beach, and a safe was stolen from the office. An undisclosed amount of money was taken, according to a Bradenton Beach Police Department report. The BBPD would not release other details, saying the case remained under investigation. Moose Lodge No. 2188 is a membership organization with a lounge and dining area. Lodge administrator Ernie Casali said that it appeared the burglary began around 3 a.m., when phone service at the building was interrupted. Casali offered a $5,000 reward — $1,000 upon arrest and $4,000 upon conviction — for information. Anyone with information on the burglary, is asked to contact BBPD Sgt. Leonard Diaz, at 941-778-1005, ext. 223.
