Anna Maria
• Nov. 26, 200 block of Sycamore Avenue, information. A resident reported to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office the receipt of a an e-mail erroneously claiming to be from an FBI office.
• Nov. 26, Bean Point, dogs on the beach. The MCSO received a complaint about loose dogs on the beach, where domestic animals are prohibited — whether loose or leashed.
• Nov. 30, 10000 block of Gulf Drive, theft. The MCSO took a report of two bicycles stolen, their total value estimated at $1,500.
Bradenton Beach
• Nov. 27, 100 block of Bridge Street, warrant. A Bradenton Beach Police Department officer responded to a report of a disturbance. The investigating officer learned that a Bradenton man at the location was wanted on a warrant out of drug court.
• Nov. 30, 100 block of Bridge Street, burglary. BBPD arrested a man for burglary to an unoccupied structure, a felony. The man was found passed out in the bathtub of an unrented resort room.
Cortez
• Nov. 29, 10300 block of Cortez Road West, burglary. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in to a mobile home, where prescription medication was stolen.
Holmes Beach
• Nov. 25, 5700 block of Carissa Drive, break-in. A resident reported that someone broke into a storage area, but nothing appeared disturbed.
• Nov. 27, 200 block of 58th Street, vehicle burglary. An auto owner reported her car was broken into and ransacked.
• Nov. 27, 5600 block of Gulf Drive, vehicle burglary. A Holmes Beach Police Department officer checking the area found a car had been broken into and ransacked. A GPS device and three pairs of headphones were taken.
• Nov. 27, 5800 block of Imperiore Drive, vehicle burglaries. HBPD responded to a report that two vehicles were broken into.
• Nov. 27, 5600 block of Guava, vehicle burglary. HBPD took a report of a break-in to a vehicle. An iPod charger and two keys were taken.
• Nov. 27, 5300 block of Marina Drive, vandalism. HBPD took a report of vandalism to a boat, include damage to a power-extension cord.
Nov. 27, 800 block of Manatee Avenue, littering, traffic violations. An HBPD officer stopped a man driving a pickup truck, hauling loosely packed paper that was flying from the bed. The man was driving on a revoked license.
