Roser hosts Bethlehem Walk Dec. 11

Roser Memorial Community Church will host the traditional Bethlehem Walk at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, beginning at the church, 512 Pine Ave., Anna Maria.

The walk re-enacts the journey of the biblical Joseph and Mary in their search for “inn to inn” search for shelter for the birth of Jesus.

Along the walk, carols will be sung.

Some walkers attend in costume, and Roser helps create an atmosphere for the nativity seen by bringing in animals — a donkey and goats.

At the conclusion of the walk, the church hosts a reception, including refreshments.
