The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary spree that took place between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. May 2 in the Paradise Bay Mobile Home Park in Cortez.
The MCSO received reports from 10 residents of the park in the 10300 block of Cortez Road who said their vehicles were burglarized.
The burglar or burglars took loose change, sunglasses, a GPS devise in those cases. Additionally, a bicycle was taken from a carport.
An MCSO news release stated that there were eight additional burglaries, but people chose not to file reports.
