Anna Maria
• June 29, North Bay Boulevard, complaint. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a citizen’s complaint about a man at Bayfront Park with a dog, which is prohibited. A citation was not issued because the dog wore a service vest and the man was identified to be a U.S. Coast Guard combat veteran.
• July 1, 800 block of Jacaranda, bicycle theft. The MCSO received a report that someone stole an unlocked bicycle parked under a carport at a home.
• July 7, Bay Boulevard and North Shore Drive, criminal mischief. The MCSO filed a report on vandalism to a sign for Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch and Shorebird Monitoring. Someone sprayed black paint on the sign.

Bradenton Beach
• July 5, 100 block of Bridge Street, defrauding an innkeeper. The Bradenton Beach Police Department responded to a situation at the Sports Lounge, where a man allegedly ran from the bar without paying a $60 tab. He faces a misdemeanor charge.
Bradenton Beach is policed by the BBPD.
Cortez
• July 3, 10000 block of Cortez Road, petit theft. The MCSO investigated a woman’s report that an acquaintance stole about 160 prescription pills from her apartment.
Cortez is policed by the MCSO.
Holmes Beach
• July 3, 2700 block of Avenue E, theft. The Holmes Beach Police Department received a report that someone stole some patio cushions valued at about $80 from outside a home.
• July 4, 6600 Gulf Drive, vandalism. The HBPD received a report from the Beach Bistro that someone pulled a sign off a wall. The damage was estimated at $200.
• July 5, 3600 East Bay Drive, theft. The HBPD took a report from someone who said an iPod and cigarettes were stolen from his vehicle.
• July 6, 5400 Marina Drive, argument. The HBPD responded to a situation in which a man and woman, later identified as boyfriend and girlfriend, argued outside the Sand & Suds laundry. The man was arrested for domestic violence.
