The Bradenton Beach Police Department arrested a 22-year-old man for an alleged drink and dash attempt at the Sports Lounge, 118 Bridge St.
The incident occurred July 5. The BBPD received a call from the bar after a man allegedly ran up a $60 tab and then, while the bartender was readying another drink for him, left.
A doorman chased after the man and escorted him back to the bar to pay his bill, but his three credit cards could not be processed, according to the police report.
The BBPD responded and arrested the man, who lives in Ocala.
He was released from the Manatee County jail on $120 bond and faces a misdemeanor charge of defrauding an innkeeper.
