Charles ‘Chuck’ Lease
Charles “Chuck” Lease, 68, of Dade City, died Jan. 9. He was born Feb. 1, 1943, in Oconto, Wis.
Mr. Lease was a Protestant.
He served in the U.S. National Guard.
He earned a master’s degree from the University of South Florida, and taught at Dade City Grammar School where he later became principal. He also taught music appreciation at St. Leo College. He wrote for the Dade City Banner, designed and set up water-cleaning plants and owned and operated Treasures and Trash in Dade City. He also managed rental properties.
Mr. Lease was active in church and the community, coaching and tutoring children.
A service was held Jan. 18 in Dade City.
Mr. Lease was preceded in death by his father, the Rev. Charles E. Lease, former pastor of Roser Memorial Community Church in Anna Maria.
He is survived by sister Mary M. of Anna Maria.
