Anna Maria

Sept. 2, 100 block of South Bay Boulevard, information. A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to an alarm. The scene was checked, and cleared as a “false alarm.”

Sept. 3, 500 block of Blue Heron Drive, information. A person reported a missing gas can from a boat. Police reported it may be the gas can found in the garage of a burglarized home in Holmes Beach.

Sept. 14, 100 block of Cedar Avenue, found item. A MCSO deputy found a lunch bag and blanket at a beach access. After asking beachgoers if it belonged to them, he took the items to the station.

Bradenton Beach

Sept. 13, 200 block of Bay Drive South, open container. A Bradenton Beach Police officer saw a person with an open can of beer, which is in violation of city ordinance. He was arrested.

Cortez

Sept. 12, 12300 block of Cortez Road, trespass warning. A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a call by a property manager who wanted certain individuals trespassed from the property. Both subjects left the area without incident.

        Cortez is policed by MCSO.
