Woman not guilty of stabbing boyfriend

A jury in June found a Colorado woman not guilty of stabbing her boyfriend.

Isabel Dominguez, 20, was arrested on a felony aggravated battery charge for allegedly stabbing her 60-year-old boyfriend.

She was arrested in January by the Holmes Beach Police Department.

According to an HBPD report, Dominguez said she “lost it” after her boyfriend grabbed her by the hair and called her a name. The boyfriend called 911 and alleged Dominquez stabbed him multiple times in the stomach with two steak knives.

She entered a plea of not guilty at a Jan. 21 court appearance and stood trial in the 12th Judicial Circuit Court, at the Manatee County Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave., Bradenton.

A jury found her not guilty June 19 of the felony aggravated battery charge.
