Oct. 5, 100 block of Pine Avenue, larceny/petit theft. A resident reported someone stole a garden hose connected to her apartment.

Oct. 9, 120 Bridge St. and 103 Gulf Drive S., domestic battery. A Bradenton woman went into the Drift-In bar looking for a man who was in a relationship with her. She walked up to him, grabbed his beer bottle, threw it at him and ran out of the bar. The bottle hit him in the right eye, but the eye did not appear injured when officers observed him, according to the police report. Police found the woman a block away at the Circle K and arrested her.
Oct. 12, 200 block of Church Avenue, domestic battery. A couple with a live-in relationship had an argument that turned physical when the woman lunged at the man and the man shoved the woman outside. The woman broke a window trying to get back into the residence. The man refused to press charges.

Oct. 4, 4000 Gulf Drive, disorderly intoxication. Police arrested a 57-year-old Bradenton man who had been sleeping on a trolley-stop bench at the Manatee Public Beach in the middle of the afternoon. A Manatee County transit system operator alerted police that a man had passed out on the bench and was preventing other people from using the bench. When the man awakened, he began shouting obscenities and threatened officers, saying if he had a weapon no officers would be standing. Officers charged him with possessing alcohol in a prohibited place and resisting an officer.
Oct. 5, 500 block of 69th Street, domestic battery. A woman was arrested at about 6 p.m. after a verbal argument with a relative turned physical. The two female relatives were arguing when one struck the other several times.
Oct. 6, 500 block of 69th Street, burglary. A Bose sound system valued at $500 was reported stolen from a residence while the owner was out of town. There had been no forced entry. A pawnshop search had negative results.
Oct. 9, 100 block of 38th Street, disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer. Police arrested a homeless man after being called to a public disturbance involving several men drinking on the beach. When officers arrived, one of the men appeared highly intoxicated. The alleged offender called the officers “rascals,” began hitting himself and screaming. He threw a bottle in the direction of the officers, according to the police report.
Oct. 13, 6600 Marina Drive, driving while license suspended/possession of drug paraphernalia. An officer arrested the driver of a vehicle that crashed into another vehicle. The driver told police he knew his driver’s license was suspended for an unpaid red-light ticket. Police found two syringes, a burnt soda can bottom and a prescription drug for opiate dependence.
