Oct. 13, 800 block of North Shore Drive, found property. A person called the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office to report finding marijuana. The marijuana, weighing .4 grams, was placed into MCSO property.
Oct. 31, 700 block of Jacaranda Road, verbal disturbance. Police were called to a scene where a person was causing a disturbance because he didn’t like standing water that was diverted during the construction of a pool.

Cortez
Oct. 30, 4000 block of 103rd Street, domestic disturbance/Baker Act. MCSO responded to a report of a male yelling for police. Arriving on the scene, a deputy found an individual who was agitated reportedly due to a medication problem. MSCO transported the individual to a facility under the Baker Act.

Holmes Beach
Oct. 28, 6000 Marina Drive, license plate theft. An agent for Agnelli Construction reported that an unknown person stole a license plate and decal off a construction trailer.
Oct. 29, 4000 Gulf Drive, vehicle burglary. Two complainants reported their vehicle broken into while parked at the Manatee Public Beach between 1 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. A side window had broken. Items reported stolen were two purses, credit cards and three hand-held computers, cellphones, a Nikon camera and jewelry valued at $4,357. Police took fingerprints at the scene.
Oct. 29, 4000 Gulf Drive, bicycle theft. A woman parked her bicycle at about 4:10 p.m. at the south end of Manatee Public Beach. She told police she left her 26-inch woman’s blue-and-silver bicycle unlocked in a bike rack. When she returned at 5 p.m., the bicycle, which she valued at $50, was gone.
Oct. 29, 100 block of 52nd Street, vehicle burglary. A woman came to the station to report the theft of her purse, which contained her identification and bank cards. The purse, valued at $33, had been left inside a friend’s car that was broken into while she and the friend were at the beach.
