A reference to expenses for heartworm treatment in a Feb. 11 article about rescues groups that work with Manatee County Animal Services was inadvertently omitted. The figures, $936 in 2011, $7,884 in 2012, $28,817 in 2013 and $32,011 in 2014, represented the Animal Network’s expenses for the treatment. Animal Network’s income from fundraising was $3,924 in 2011, $18,886 in 2012, $52,775 in 2013, $26, 614 in 2014.
