Harvey E. Anderson
Harvey E. Anderson, 86, of Cortez, died Feb. 10.
Mr. Anderson was a graduate of Lehigh University and past president of Rochester Coca-Cola Bottling Corp., Coca-Cola Bottler’s Association, Tennis Club of Rochester and the Racquet Club at El Conquistador.
The family gathered with friends Feb. 14 at 12930 Yacht Club Place in Cortez. Memorial services will be in Rochester at a later date. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel in Bradenton is charge of arrangements. He is survived by daughter Hollis Creek and her husband, Paul, of Webster, New York; son Thomas and wife Holly of Webster, New York; grandchildren Alixandra Chesno and husband Murray of Paradise Valley, Arizona, Zachary and wife Jamie of Webster, New York, Ian and wife Nicolette of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Victoria and husband Kenneth Totlis of Phoenix, Morgan Hamman and husband Jeffrey of Webster, New York, and Griffin Anderson of Washington D.C.; great-grandchildren Maxwell and Haley Chesno, Ethan, Brynn and Owen Anderson, Lucille, Charles and Alexander Totlis, Evangeline Anderson, Finley Hamman and many cherished friends.
Janice Crall
Janice Crall, 77, of Holmes Beach, died Feb. 8.
She was a manager of East Harrisburg Cemetery in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, until she moved to Holmes Beach in 1998.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dale; son Michael of Maui, Hawaii; daughter Carrie Williams of Atlanta; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Dale Russell Redeker
Dale Russell Redeker, 84, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Anna Maria Island, died Feb. 8.
Mr. Redeker was born in Kalamazoo to E.J. and Ida (Dykstra) Redeker. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1949, attended Kalamazoo Community College, earning his associate’s of science degree. He married the love of his life, Katherine “Kit” (Kloosterman) May 22, 1951.
He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Greenland and Panama. He was honorably discharged in 1953.
He was a lifelong member and deacon of Hope Reformed Church in Kalamazoo. He also attended Manistee First United Methodist Church in Manistee, Michigan. During his winters on Anna Maria Island, he was active with CrossPointe Fellowship.
He loved singing in the choir, ushering, attending Bible study and enjoying the fellowship of friends. He delighted in attending the weekly breakfast meeting of the Anna Maria Island Kiwanis Club, in which he was an active member. He also was a member of American Legion Post 24, enjoyed being an usher for the Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus and Orchestra and served his community as the humorous bingo caller at Annie Silver Community Center in Bradenton Beach and as a bell-ringer for the Salvation Army.
He was proud to donate over 10 gallons of blood to the American Red Cross over the years and was known for his great recollection of people and dates. He would amuse family and friends with his good-natured humor and vivid storytelling.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at CrossPointe Fellowship in Holmes Beach. Services will be held at Hope Reformed Church in Kalamazoo in June.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Kit; sons David and Tim and wife Laura; daughter Susan; daughter-in-law Marilyn; and grandchildren Sedona and husband Alan Crow of Michigan and Abrye of Australia.
