A 19-year-old Anna Maria man faces six charges of sexual battery against a 15-year-old girl.
Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrested James W. Gresham at 4:30 p.m. March 17 after he allegedly confessed to having sexual intercourse with the victim.
Gresham responded to the MCSO at the office of Crimes Against Children, 5651 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, where he was interviewed and arrested.
The sexual activity allegedly occurred in Bradenton at the victim’s father’s home, at Gresham’s Anna Maria residence and at a park in Oneco, according to an MCSO probable cause report.
Gresham is being held in the Manatee County jail on $15,000 bond.
His arraignment is set for 9 a.m. Friday, April 17, at the Manatee Judicial Center, 1051 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
