March 9, 200 block of Spruce Avenue, trespass warning. A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched on a call about a person claiming to rent an occupied home. The deputy ordered the alleged renter from the premises and issued a trespass warning.

Bradenton Beach
March 19, 100 block of Bridge Street, warrant arrest. A homeless man was arrested on a warrant.
March 19, 2650 Gulf Drive S., Coquina Beach Gift Shop and Coquina Beach, theft. A store manager confronted a man after observing him take a bogey board from a sale rack and unwrap it without paying. The 21-year-old Sarasota man claimed he’d paid for it and left. Police arrested him on the beach after he put the board in the water.
March 21, 119 Bridge St., The Hive, trespass warning. Police issued a warning to a homeless man who’d been told to stop sleeping behind the store.
March 21, 110 Gulf Drive S., Island Time, trespass. A property manager told a Longboat Key man to leave the store three times. The man ignored the warnings and the manager called police. He was trespassed.

Cortez
March 12, Cortez Bridge at Cortez Road West and 127th Street, vehicle disabled. Traffic control was provided by MCSO because a truck was blocking the eastbound lane on the bridge.

Holmes Beach
March 16, 5400 block of Marina Drive, driver’s license. After running the vehicle registration, a Holmes Beach police officer found that the owner’s license was suspended. The officer issued the 30-year-old Palmetto woman a summons for driving on a suspended license and seized the tag.
March 17, 500 block of Manatee Avenue, vehicle registration. A 21-year-old Bradenton man was issued a summons for having no motor vehicle registration.
March 18, 7000 block of Gulf Drive, found property. A red bicycle with blue custom shocks reported stolen March 16 was returned to its owner after police located it.
March 18, 4300 block of Second Avenue, theft. Two beach chairs and two beach umbrellas were taken from a residence. The chairs were valued at $80 and umbrellas at $70.
March 19, 500 block of Key Royale Drive, vehicle. HBPD issued a 45-year-old Palmetto man a summons for no motor vehicle registration after determining his registration was for a different vehicle.
March 19, 5200 block of Gulf Drive, driver’s license. A Holmes Beach officer issued a summons to a 31-year-old Bradenton man for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
March 19, 600 Manatee Avenue, driver’s license. A 31-year-old Bradenton woman was pulled over by police for not wearing her seatbelt. After running her vehicle and driver’s license, police issued her summonses for driving on a revoked license and an unregistered motor vehicle.
March 20, 100 block of 52nd Street, alcohol violations. Five people were issued violations for drinking alcohol on the beach.
