The Florida Department of Law Enforcement reports a sex offender who’d been living in Holmes Beach moved to the mainland near Cortez.
A 43-year-old man residing in the 6400 block of Flotilla Drive in Holmes Beach moved to the 4500 block of 99th Street West in Bradenton, according to a March 5 FDLE release.
He was convicted of a sex offense in Pinellas County in February 1996. He is no longer under a court-imposed sanction, but is required to report a change of address.
Under Florida law, any convicted sex offender residing in the state must report changes of address to the FDLE immediately upon moving.
FDLE reports two convicted sex offenders currently living in Bradenton Beach and two residing in Holmes Beach.
There are two sex offenders living in Cortez.
